Social Workers across the province have stepped forward to support Manitobans in new and challenging ways over the past year, highlighting the value and strength of our profession during these trying times. Under immense pressure and rising workloads, Social Workers have responded, adapted, advocated and risen to the challenge, time and time again.
It’s time to recognize and celebrate our profession and shine the spotlight on Social Workers for their extraordinary service and accomplishments!

CASW Distinguished Service Award – Call for Nominations
The annual Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW) Distinguished Service Award is presented on the occasion of National Social Work Week in March 2021. MCSW is proud to recognize Social Workers in Manitoba who promote the best in social work practice. MCSW welcomes nominations for this award until December 31, 2020.
Finance Committee Seeking Public Representative
The Manitoba College of Social Workers is seeking a public representative to serve on its Finance Committee. Individuals with financial backgrounds, such as chartered financial analysts and chartered professional accountants, are encouraged to apply.

The Manitoba College of Social Workers is pleased to formalize its commitment to reconciliation through its partnership with the City of Winnipeg as signatories to Winnipeg’s Indigenous Accord. The College welcomes feedback from members regarding the ongoing development of our Partnership Plan!
