MCSW offers advertising in e-bulletins for the following:
Educational/Community Event Announcements
Educational/Community Event Announcements will be reviewed based on these criteria:
- Events must fit with MCSW’s mandate, vision, mission and values
- Must come from a trusted source and benefit MCSW members
- Social workers who are registered with MCSW or other professionals registered with their own regulatory body and are involved in planning or presenting the event.
- Content is related to social work theory, methods and/or practice (syllabus or general outline of course may be required)
- Educational events should have clear goals and specific, measurable learning objectives
- Educational events outline clear and effective evaluation procedures
- Educational and community events must ensure website security for registration, payment, and online courses/presentations
Research Announcements
Research advertising requests will be reviewed based on these criteria:
- Researchers or the researchers supervisor must be registered with MCSW or another social work regulatory body in Canada
- Research must have ethics approval and be monitored by an accredited or MCSW-approved social work program
- Research must fit with MCSW’s mandate, vision, mission and values
- Research should benefit social workers
Employment Opportunity Announcements
Job advertising requests will be reviewed based on these criteria:
- Must be from a trusted organization approved by MCSW
- Limited to positions that require registration with MCSW or other applicable regulatory body
Publication Announcements
- Author(s) must be registered with MCSW or another social work regulatory body in Canada
- Publication must benefit social workers
- Content is related to social work theory, methods and/or practice
Advertising Fee Schedule & Procedure
Fees include a one-time e-bulletin advertisement to MCSW membership.

Requests are reviewed and approved by the Executive Director/Registrar. When requests are determined not fit with MCSW’s mandate, the request may be denied.
If approved, advertisements will be sent in next MCSW e-bulletin, which are sent to the members every 2 – 4 weeks
