Part 5 of The Social Work Profession Act allows social workers in private practice to incorporate. A professional corporation may provide services within the practice of social work in Manitoba, through one or more licensed members of the College, or as a member of a general partnership of professional corporations or of professional corporations and members.
Corporations are required to be registered if the corporation name includes the words “social worker(s)”, registered social worker(s)”, or the initials “SW” or “RSW.”
